Deer Hunting In Ohio

One thing I don’t like with shooting a ported 30-30 barrel is the increase in muzzle blast. I ordered my Marlin 444 in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Baconton, Mississippi.

For deer hunting I like a handy walnut stocked Marlin 444 for hunting under 200 yards. My all-time favorite hunt was the last one i went on with my Marlin 444 30-30 over around Baconton. I bought it at the auction for the estate of Ivan Wade who was once the postmaster in Baconton.
