One thing I don’t like with this shooter is the Savage price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the English walnut stock. I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Livermore, Alabama. My favorite rifle is everything made by Savage.
Stewart got his Savage last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Livermore. There is a new edition of my new Savage 111-GCNS with the English walnut chambered in 5.7 x 28 mm and 458 Win Magnum. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 458 Win Magnum he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
My second favorite caliber is the 5.7 x 28 mm (heck my favorite bolt action is the 458 Win Magnum). I will always remember my favorite hunt was the shoot outside of Livermore when Hermelinda spotted the big buck. My mom got her 458 Win Magnum online at Cabelas.
