My dad’s best-loved gun is the Savage 110FP that saved my life and that of my crew in Vietnam. I will always remember my most popular hunt was a miserable experience at the time even with my new Savage 110FP 243 Winchester. I really like Savage because they are willing to try new approaches to design and seem to consistently put out a quality product.

My most admired rifle is the Savage 110FP I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Smethport. My friends and I like the 243 Winchester best for rabbit hunting.
