My friend (Conrad) said his beloved caliber is the 7.62 mm he got at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet last season. I bought the rifle at a second-hand shop in Star Lake. I used to like to shoot the rifle from the offhand position. My Dad’s revered caliber for elk and larger game is 7.62 mm and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 350 Rem Mag.
