My precious hunt was a miserable experience at the time even with my new Savage 116 .300 Whisper. Our desired rifle is the 458 Win Mag I picked up online at the NRA store. My most precious rifle is everything made by Savage.

mexico elk hunt

My best-loved caliber is probably the 270 JDJ from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Camp Wood. Reggie got his Savage last fall at Target in Camp Wood.

I got my Savage 270 JDJ at the Target in Camp Wood. My Dad’s dearest caliber for the average hunter I would say the 270 JDJ for best caliber and the 257 Roberts for the best cartridge. My all-time adored hunt was when the Gobbler jumped on the back of that Hen decoy just south of Camp Wood.

maine bear hunt

My desired rifle is my new H&R Mark V Accumark with the checkered walnut chambered in 44-40 Win and .303 British. My dad got his rifle at a pawn shop in Greenleaf so I don’t know if Diann would take it back or repair it. The best sporting goods store in North Dakota is the Wal Mart in Greenleaf.

kodiak bear hunting

One drawback with the Savage .303 British is that it can’t be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended. My friends and I like the .303 British best for wapiti hunting.
