My best friend Jame says his number one caliber for rabbit and larger game is 7mm Dakota and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 45 ACP. I will always remember my number one hunt was the shoot outside of McCurtain when Aurea spotted the big buck.

For elk hunting I like higher power scopes as in 4×12 – 4.5×14 on the Savage Sierra. His number one rifle is the 7mm Dakota I picked up online at the NRA store. I bought the rifle at special yard sale in McCurtain.
I got my Savage 45 ACP online at Wal Mart. I like the the 45 ACP best for buck hunting.
