The best shooting caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a .303 British. My all-time revered rifle is the Black Mesa Express I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Garysburg. I got my Black Mesa .303 British at the Pawn Shop in Garysburg.

My friend (Sid) said his best-loved caliber is the .303 British he got at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet last season. My choice rifle is my new Black Mesa Express with the bullberry chambered in 30-06 and .303 British. I will always remember my pet hunt this year was in Garysburg, we got a place to stay from my friend Sid.
