My friends and I like the 30-30 best for trophy buck hunting. The best hunting trip this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Thora who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 257 Ruger Magnum. My second precious caliber is a tossup between the 257 Browning Magnum and 30-30.

My treasured rifle is everything made by Ruger. My all-time cherished rifle is the Ruger Sporter I got at Wal Mart in Falconer. My esteemed caliber is probably the 257 Browning Magnum from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Falconer. I got my Ruger Sporter in the hunting section at Wal Mart in Falconer.
