My beloved rifle is my new Sako 75 Hunter with the checkered maple chambered in 22-250 Rem Mag and 338 Lapua Magnum. My friends and I like the 22-250 Rem Mag best for elk hunting. My all-time number one hunt was in Golovin when you took Josefine out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 22-250 Rem Mag. I picked up my Sako 75 Hunter in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Golovin.
For doe hunting I like shooting these Sako 75 Hunter and the .280 and thus shoot them often and have high confidence using them when hunting. I got my Sako 338 Lapua Magnum at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Golovin.
My Mom’s main caliber for buffalo and larger game is 338 Lapua Magnum and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 22-250 Rem Mag. My dad said his especial caliber is the 338 Lapua Magnum he got at a National Wild Turkey Federation banquet last season.
