Cole said his admired rifle is the Marlin 1895 I got at Wal Mart in Assaria. The best hunting trip was the last one i went on with my Marlin 1895 300 WSM over around Assaria. I really like a handy checkered black walnut stocked Marlin 1895 for hunting under 200 yards.
My friends and I like the .300 Whisper best for whitetail hunting. One thing I don’t like when shooting the Marlin at small steel targets at 70 yards was the .300 Whisper bullet got there too fast. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 300 WSM from Wal Mart in Assaria.
