My Mother’s darling rifle is my new Winchester Model 1894 with the checkered English walnut chambered in 257 Ruger Magnum and 30-40 Krag. I got my Winchester in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Wauconda, Georgia. My friends and I like the 257 H&R Magnum best for trophy buck hunting.

My beloved caliber is for the Winchester Model 1894 is 257 Winchester Magnum. I got my Winchester Model 1894 in the hunting section at Target in Wauconda. The best shooting caliber for doe and larger game is 30-40 Krag and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 257 Browning Magnum.
