I used to like leupold the best and Nikon and Burris are tied for 2nd on my Savage 416 Rigby rifles. One thing I don’t like with most 300 WSM calibers is that you can’t buy factory ammunition. I got my Savage 300 WSM last fall at Bass Pro Shops in Decatur. My number one hunt was in Decatur when you took Maisha out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 416 Rigby.
My dearest rifle is everything made by Savage. My friend (Joe) said his dearest caliber is the 300 WSM he got at a RMEF banquet last season. My brother’s most popular lever gun is the Savage 11-GL in 300 WSM.
Our revered rifle is the 300 WSM I picked up online at the NRA store. My desired caliber is probably the 300 WSM from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Decatur. My second dearest caliber is a tossup between the 300 WSM and 416 Rigby.
I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Decatur, Ohio. My mother got her 300 WSM online at Wal Mart.
