I picked up my Model 77 in the hunting section at Dick’s Sporting Goods in St. Pauls. My friends and I like the 300 Ruger magnum best for whitetail hunting. A minor problem is that the Ruger doesn’t have a detachable magazine. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 7 Mossberg Mag from Dick’s Sporting Goods in St. Pauls.
