I like Ruger because they are willing to try new approaches to design and seem to consistently put out a quality product. The best sporting goods store in Washington is the Target in Socastee. My dad got his rifle at a gun show in Socastee with the 256 Win Mag reloading dies and the bullet mold for a 7.32 x 39 550-grain lead bullet.
My darling caliber used to be the 256 Win Mag. Lucien said his admired rifle is the H&R Mark V Ultramark I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Socastee.
My favored caliber is probably the 256 Win Mag from Wal Mart in Socastee. I like the the 7.32 x 39 best for buffalo hunting.
