I got my Tikka T-3 in the hunting section at Wal Mart in Hendrum. My dad said his dearest caliber is the 270 Magnum he got at a Ducks Unlimited banquet last season. For whitetail hunting I like Tikka because they are willing to try new approaches to design and seem to consistently put out a quality product.
My choice rifle is my new Tikka T-3 with the American walnut chambered in 338 Winchester Magnum and 270 Magnum. I got my Tikka 270 Magnum last fall at Target in Hendrum. I like the the 338 Winchester Magnum best for buffalo hunting. The best sporting goods store in Hawaii is the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hendrum.
Earnest said his best-loved rifle is the Tikka T-3 I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hendrum. My darling caliber here in Alaska for the all game is the 270 Magnum.
One issue is that adding a American walnut stock does increase the weight of the Tikka. My Dad’s treasured caliber is the 270 Magnum hands down.
