My favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger. Our favorite rifle is the 45 ACP I picked up online at the NRA store. One thing I don’t like with the 45 ACP barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. The best shooting caliber for the average hunter I would say the 45 ACP for best caliber and the 223 Rem for the best cartridge.
