A minor problem with the Ruger 325 WSM is that it can’t be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended. For deer hunting I like higher power scopes as in 4×12 – 4.5×14 on the Ruger Mini 14.
I got my Ruger in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Blackwood, Nebraska. My Dad’s favorite caliber for the average hunter I would say the 338 Win Mag for best caliber and the 325 WSM for the best cartridge.
My friend (Christoper) said his favorite caliber is the 338 Win Mag he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My favorite hunt was the shoot outside of Blackwood when Sharen spotted the big buck.
