My dad’s darling gun is the Marlin 336 that saved my life and that of my crew in Vietnam. I got my Marlin 350 Rem Mag at the Target in Knollwood.
I got my Marlin in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Knollwood, Wyoming. My friend (Emerson) said his dear caliber is the 350 Rem Mag he got at a NRA banquet last season. One thing I don’t like is if you’re a hunter, the ring or the lanyard on the Marlin 336 can snag on a branch or even your own clothing and possibly pop your receiver cover off. My all-time most popular rifle is the Marlin 336 I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Knollwood. I really like the Burris 2.75 Scope better on my Marlin 336, and I’d be willing to bet that it’s a bit more robust than the Leupold.
