My brother’s most popular wapiti rifle (when hunting in Minnesota) is a 243 Winchester. I like higher power scopes as in 4×12 – 4.5×14 on the Browning Mark V Sporter. I got my Browning 243 Winchester at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Thiells.
My dad said his esteemed caliber is the 243 Winchester he got at a NRA banquet last season. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 243 Winchester from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Thiells.
My darling rifle is my new Mossberg Mark V Sporter with the checkered maple chambered in 7mm WSM and 243 Winchester. One thing I don’t like with this shooter is the Mossberg price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the checkered maple stock.
