I got my Winchester 458 Win Mag last fall at Target in Ottumwa. My friends and I like the 222 Rem Magnum best for buffalo hunting.
My second darling caliber is either the 222 Rem Magnum or 458 Win Mag – what ever I have handy when I see one of the little buggers. There is a new edition of my new Winchester Buckmark with the walnut chambered in 222 Rem Magnum and 458 Win Mag. I bought it at a store in Ottumwa. My dad said his especial caliber is the 458 Win Mag he got at a National Rifle Association banquet last season.
I used to like shooting these Mossberg Buckmark and the .280 and thus shoot them often and have high confidence using them when hunting. One issue with the 458 Win Mag barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. His dearest rifle is the 458 Win Mag I picked up online at the NRA store.
